Most apps save what you type. PinPoint checks what it saves.
A saved place is a promise to your future self — that when you finally land in Lisbon or Tokyo or Oaxaca, the café you dreamt about will still be there, with its door open at the hours you need. So we treat every pin like a promise worth keeping. Here's what happens between the moment you paste a link and the moment a place lands on your map.
From a reel to a real pin

You drop it in
A reel link, a pasted caption, a typed name, or a screenshot straight off your phone. No forms to fill, nothing to organise first.

The AI reads it
PinPoint reads the caption, the location tag and the on-screen text, and drafts the place for you — name, area, what kind of spot it is. One reel can yield several places.

You get the final word
Before anything is saved, the app looks the place up and shows you a small card: “Is this the right place?” You say yes or no. Nothing is pinned without you.

Then it becomes real
Only after your yes does the pin get its exact coordinates and opening hours. Every place is checked once and remembered — we never re-check what's already true.
The rule we never break
Day plans that never invent a venue
Every AI day plan is drawn only from the places you've actually saved — never from the model's imagination, never from a list of “popular attractions” nobody asked for. If your plan has five stops, all five are real pins with real coordinates. If your saved places can't fill a day, the plan will simply be a good half-day and tell you so.
Your rules, on file
Your traveller blueprint — your pace, what you hunt for, what you'd rather skip — is attached to every plan in your own words. Two coffees a day or six stops; bookshops over bars; no 7am starts. The plan follows it.
